About Alessandro
I am a young and passionate tutor, with professional experience and qualifications as an English teacher to foreign students wanting to learn the language. I spent some time studying in Florence, Italy, where alongside my studies, I taught English to Italian students. Throughout my time spent teaching there, I gained such wonderful insight into the joy of sharing my knowledge with others, watching others grow and learn, and best of all, helping others.
I'm very hard working and fully dedicated to everything I do. The fact that I lived abroad for 2 years in a foreign country, balancing university work with teaching is great testament to that, and more so, testament to my unique skills as a tutor. I'm kind and easy to talk to, and I'd love to help you out with whatever it is you're struggling with.
At the moment I am completing my degree at University of Cape Town, BA in Film and Media Studies. I am available part-time.
Besides from my compulsory matric subjects, I did Maths Core, Music, Art and Biology, and matriculated with 6 distinctions, after which I pursued a career certification at Florence University of The Arts, achieving above 85% for all my courses. I have now come to Cape Town to finish my degree! I also have a 120-hour TEFL Certification, and have taught English online to students in Asia and the Middle East.

I am kind and very patient, and I'd love to get you know as a student so that you can learn within a trusting and friendly relationship. I always balance my lessons between practical engagement and theoretical content, and I think it is imperative to recognise my student's learning style (visual learner, aural learner etc.) so as to adapt to it.

Details
I will cover the cost of my travel to anywhere within 20 minutes of my home address. Anywhere further than this and I will ask for a small addition which I can contribute to the petrol costs.
