About Paula
My name is Paula Srur Carcar, and I’m a composer, arranger, and orchestrator from Buenos Aires, Argentina. I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Berklee College of Music, with a degree in Film and Media Scoring and a minor in Theory of Jazz and Popular Song. I specialize in writing for orchestras and blending traditional and folkloric instrumentation from around the world. My music has been performed globally by symphonic and chamber ensembles, as well as popular groups. I've worked on scores for audiovisual projects in Argentina, New York, and Los Angeles, and contributed arrangements to a range of live concerts. My background in Latin American music institutions gives me a cross-cultural approach to music education and collaboration.
