My teaching method focuses on making Filipino easy to understand through an interactive, supportive, and relational approach. I use simple explanations, practical examples, guided conversations, vocabulary activities, pronunciation exercises, reading practice, and short assessments to help students learn confidently. I adjust my lessons according to each learner’s level, goals, learning style, and pace.
A typical lesson begins with a brief review of previously learned words or concepts. Next, I introduce the day’s topic, explain important Filipino vocabulary or grammar rules, and provide examples. The student then participates in interactive activities such as dialogues, sentence construction, role-playing, translation exercises, or reading practice. We end with a short review, corrections, and optional practice activities for the next lesson.
What sets me apart is my relational teaching style. I build genuine connections with students, create a comfortable learning environment, listen carefully to their needs, and encourage them without judgment.
