About Aayush
I’ve been playing chess since the age of 4 and have over 17 years of experience with the game. I’ve competed as a national-level player and have won gold medals in high school chess competitions. I’m also currently part of the Ontario Tech University chess team.
Chess has always been a big part of my life, and I continue to study and improve my understanding of the game. I really enjoy helping others learn chess and understand the ideas behind positions rather than just memorizing moves.
In my lessons, I focus on building strong fundamentals, improving calculation, and helping students develop better thinking habits during their games. I adapt my teaching style depending on the student’s level so the lessons remain clear, engaging, and practical.
Whether someone is just starting out or looking to improve their competitive play, my goal is to help them become more confident players while also enjoying the process of learning chess.

During lessons we analyze real games, solve positions together, and develop practical thinking habits so you can play with more confidence and improve consistently.
