About Jaiya
I’m a fashion designer with a strong technical background, currently transitioning my work into a new space after recently moving in. My clothing brand continues to operate in the Philippines since 5 years ago, and while I build my next chapter here, teaching has become a natural and meaningful extension of my practice. I’ve always been involved in peer learning supporting fashion students and even my batchmates with patterns, sewing, tech packs, and project development, even up until now. Teaching has never felt separate from my design work; it’s how I clarify processes, solve problems, and help others move forward with confidence. I’m now offering lessons as a way to share practical, technical knowledge, stay connected to the fashion community, and support students and designers who need clear guidance while developing their skills or projects.

My lessons focus on practical, technical fashion skills that can be immediately applied to school projects, personal work, or brand development.
Sessions are structured but flexible, depending on the student’s needs. A typical lesson may include:

Details
My current hourly rate is $25, offered as an introductory / beginner rate while I build my online teaching practice. Students are welcome to take advantage of this rate.
All lessons are conducted using your own materials and tools, which we will review together at the start of the session to ensure they fit your goals and level.
I also offer a 30-minute trial session, which functions as a consultation. During this time, we can:
1. Discuss your project or learning goals
2. Review your current work or questions
3. Plan future lessons or next steps
The trial session can also be used for quick technical questions or targeted guidance, if you don’t need a full lesson.
