About Lisa
With 8 years of teaching experience, I have helped students of all ages—from school children to college students and working professionals—develop their piano skills. I believe that learning piano should be both structured and enjoyable.
My teaching methodology focuses on patience, communication, and personalised guidance. I design lessons tailored to each student’s abilities, goals, and learning style, ensuring steady and meaningful progress.
I emphasise strong fundamentals, including finger technique, hand coordination, rhythm, and sight-reading, while gradually introducing advanced concepts. Along with piano, I teach music theory, ear training, and rhythm exercises to build well-rounded musicianship.
I use song-based practice, creative exercises, and performance preparation to keep lessons engaging and enjoyable. I am skilled at simplifying challenging concepts and helping students overcome obstacles, build confidence, and maintain consistency in practice.
My ultimate goal is to provide a motivating and positive environment where students develop technical skills, self-discipline, and a lifelong love for music.

Flexibility ensures lessons are adapted to the student’s pace, skill level, and learning preferences, fostering a productive and enjoyable environment.
Alongside piano, I teach music theory, sight-reading, rhythm exercises, and ear training. This comprehensive methodology develops technical skills, expressive ability, and musical understanding. My aim is to guide students to become confident, creative, and lifelong musicians.
