About Brad

After obtaining credits from Project Lead the Way all the way back in high school from 2001-2004, I went on to graduate with an Industrial Design degree from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). Since then, with the help of the founders of Fab Labs in Boston such as Mel King and his friends and family and colleagues, Susan Klimczak and her amazing Learn2Teach Teach2Learn program that took me under their wing, and those from the Fab Foundation in Boston/Cambridge Massachusetts and MIT, I opened and ran the first ever Fab Lab in a Boston Public School at the McKinley School in the South End, now named after Mel King. After helping many amazing students, community youth, and adults across Boston, including at places such as the Designery, I earned the ability to run the Chadwick International Schools Fab Lab in South Korea (before coming back to the States after CO poisoning nearly ended my life). After several months recovering, I quickly earned a grant from the Fab Cube and spent months in and around the Verona region working with the Verona Fab Lab on several projects in the summer of 2019. Before leaving for Verona, I earned a position running the Battelle Fab Lab at Reynoldsburg City Schools Summit Campus, which started promptly upon my return from Italy to the Columbus, OH region and is where I have managed over 150 students and their custom projects every year since.

About the lesson

Together, we can build designs for 3D printing or graphics, complex or simple 2D or 3D laser cuts and etchings, CNC routed designs, banners, posters, stickers, and much more! Great for first timers or experts, as we have the tools and can work together with you to use and learn them from the comfort of your own home or office all over the world! We can help flesh out new ideas and make those, or ones thoroughly thought out, come to life! Great for students looking to get an edge on projects, or to learn 21st-century skills that were the future but are here and now ready for you to learn today!
