About James

I’m an electronic music producer and DJ with experience performing at major festivals across the UK and a tour across Asia. I’ve played sold-out shows in Melbourne, the Philippines, Bangkok, and Tokyo, and have signed with labels in Amsterdam, London, and across the UK. My music has been supported by top DJs like Sarah Story and Jaguar on BBC Radio 1, and I’ve received attention from some of the biggest names in the electronic scene. Alongside my career as an artist, I’ve taught music production at a school, setting up a studio and developing a curriculum tailored to SEN students, ensuring that everyone could learn in their own way. I bring my real-world experience as a DJ and producer into my lessons, offering students a practical, hands-on approach to music production.

About the lesson

In my lessons, you’ll learn the fundamental skills of music production, including mixdowns, mastering, essential plugins, and how to sample. I’ll guide you through reaching out to artists, getting feedback, and submitting your tracks to the right platforms. We’ll cover key techniques like playing keys, selecting the right instruments, and building a track from start to finish. For those aiming to progress to an advanced level, I’ll provide guidance on releasing music and navigating the electronic scene, helping you take your skills to the point where you can get your music heard worldwide.

I found James in Superprof and he really stood out so I chose to do some lessons with him! James is amazing and really talented. I struggle to remember things but James made everything straight forward and easy to understand. I’m very grateful I was able to have lessons with him.

Thank you so much James

Im Hoping to get some more booked in the future.
