About Greta
I hold a Bachelor of Music in Contemporary Guitar Performance and have spent the past 5 years helping students develop technical skills and musical confidence. My passion for guitar began through performing, composing, and exploring a wide variety of musical styles. Over time, I realized that teaching allowed me to share that passion while helping others achieve meaningful goals. Supporting students as they discover their potential remains one of the most rewarding parts of my work. Every learner brings something unique to the musical journey.
My teaching philosophy focuses on clarity, encouragement, and practical learning. I believe students make the best progress when they understand why they are learning a particular skill. Lessons are tailored to individual goals while maintaining a clear path for development. Students receive guidance that helps them build confidence through consistent improvement. This creates an environment where learning feels productive and motivating.
Outside teaching, I enjoy writing music, exploring new guitar techniques, and collaborating with musicians from different backgrounds. These experiences help keep my lessons fresh and inspiring. Watching students reach important milestones is deeply satisfying. I strive to create lessons that are supportive and engaging. My goal is to help learners build a lifelong connection with music and guitar.

My guitar lessons are built around the idea that strong musicianship comes from understanding both technique and expression. Students learn important skills such as bending control, vibrato development, tone shaping, solo phrasing, rhythm accuracy, fretboard awareness, and dynamic playing. I use storytelling, musical examples, practical demonstrations, and relatable references to make lessons engaging and memorable. Rather than simply teaching notes and exercises, I help learners understand how music communicates feeling and personality. This creates a deeper connection to the instrument and makes learning more enjoyable.
Each lesson is customized to fit the student's goals and learning style. Some learners enjoy structured challenges that improve technical precision, while others want opportunities to explore creativity and personal expression. Activities may include improvisation tasks, ear training, song breakdowns, guided practice routines, and performance preparation. Students receive practical feedback that helps them overcome obstacles and continue progressing with confidence. This personalized approach encourages both growth and enjoyment.
My goal is to help students become capable and expressive guitarists who feel comfortable exploring different musical ideas. As skills develop, learners gain greater confidence in their playing and decision-making. Lessons encourage creativity, discipline, and self-belief. Every achievement builds momentum for future progress. I want students to enjoy the process of becoming stronger musicians.
