About Womi
I am a committed and passionate Piano tutor with 17 years of teaching experience. I teach school and college students and help them grow both musically and personally.
Throughout my journey, I have trained many students who progressed from simple exercises to confident stage performances. Their success and growth have been proud milestones in my career.
My teaching philosophy is simple: strong basics lead to lasting success. I focus on finger strength, rhythm timing, music theory, and proper technique. I also teach students how to practice effectively at home.
I believe that music is a powerful tool for self-expression. I encourage students to connect emotionally with the pieces they play. This helps them perform with feeling and confidence.
Patience and communication are key parts of my teaching style. I guide students carefully through challenges and celebrate every improvement they make.
In my 17 years of experience, I have seen how Piano learning builds discipline, creativity, and self-belief. My goal is to inspire students to develop a lifelong love for music and continue improving with dedication.

My piano teaching methodology is designed to nurture confident, disciplined, and expressive musicians through Motivation, Communication, Integrity, and Creativity. I begin by identifying each student’s strengths and areas for improvement, then create personalized lesson plans that balance technical exercises and creative activities.
Motivation keeps students consistent, so I celebrate small achievements and guide them through difficult pieces patiently. Communication is clear and interactive, helping students understand complex topics like scale patterns, chord inversions, tempo control, and musical dynamics with ease.
Integrity is at the core of my teaching; I maintain punctuality, structured planning, and honest evaluation to ensure steady progress. Creativity is developed through improvisation, ear training, songwriting basics, and expressive performance practice.
Along with piano lessons, I also teach music theory, sight reading, rhythm exercises, and keyboard skills to provide a strong and complete musical foundation for long-term success.
