About Sara Montano

Degree in Fine Arts and with extensive training and artistic experience in dance, music and other performing arts and also in the areas of personal development (meditation, reiki, etc.), I obtained training in various dance modalities, with national and international teachers, having deepened knowledge especially in belly dance, afro-tribal and creative dance. I integrated several artistic groups and shows. With a wealth of knowledge and tools at the arts level, it is possible for teaching that is focused on technique and goes beyond that, looking for the potential and creativity of each one.

About the lesson

My teaching is adapted to each person's condition, respecting each other's differences and dreams, I try to introduce materials and techniques and work them with the student in order to expand and unleash their potential. I believe that dance is a liberating expression that heals and empowers and seeks to facilitate the reach of this expression based not only on the technique but on the inherent richness of each one. As such the classes can have various types of exercises combining technical knowledge, tools and personal development and various levels. All kinds of people can practice it and together we will find processes and ways of creation. I seek that the student grows body awareness and develops an experimental and proper sense. There is no ideal body but a multicultural body that has several references. What matters is the transmission of feelings, ideas, concepts, enjoying the technique as an ally for a rich and liberating expression. Relax and unwind are two important predominants in class.

Porque formalmente tem os certificados necessários para o efeito mas sobretudo porque tem muita experiência pessoal de espectáculos onde já participou, experiência de ensino de dança em vários centros, muita criatividade na concepção de eventos de dança e mistos. É uma "mulher dos 7 instrumentos" :) Ela dança, toca, canta, etc A Sara consegue apreender quase instantaneamente os passos de qualquer dança. Já a vi dançar dança africana e para mim é a "branca mais preta" nessas danças :) Por isto tudo e muito mais e pela pessoa generosa que é recomendo a Sara vivamente para quem quiser aprender a dançar!
