About Dr Eva

I am a Greek native speaker coming originally from the beautiful island of Crete. I have been living in England for the last 22 years and I have been teaching privately for the last 15 years. I hold a PhD in Art and Communication and a PGCE teaching certificate in Post Compulsory Education. These qualifications provided me with a very good command of the English Language. I am very capable of playing between Greek and English and can help English speakers have a wonderful experience of my native language. I welcome all to explore the magic of Greek language and discover a huge variety of English words that come from a Greek root.

About the lesson

Eva works you through the technicalities of photography in an easy to understand way, without losing sight of the creativity side and in supporting what you want to acheive with your photography. She is straight forward and great to work with.

I was quite new to the idea of taking my camera off the “auto” mode. Eva made it completely painless and I had a great day exploring the different modes and learning how to use my camera properly. Thank you

Superb coaching and inspiration from a patient and creative photographer.

I’ve been on several of Eva’s photography courses, such as abstract/surreal, portrait, and creative, lasting several weeks. I’ve also attended photo walks for street and night photography. Eva’s focus is to get you to think creatively and push you out of your comfort zone to produce new things and work in different ways, sometimes with constraints that force you to think on your feet and may yield surprising results. The homework has been terrific fun, sometimes involving my partner and friends. I’ve learned much about being more creative, and my photos have benefited.”
