About Madeline
I am a singing tutor with 9 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance. I have coached over 250 students across Classical, Pop, Rock, Country, Jazz, and Musical Theatre. My lessons focus on breath support, pitch accuracy, tone shaping, vocal health, and building genuine stage confidence in every student I work with. I am deeply passionate about helping every student find their unique voice and express themselves authentically through music. My approach is warm, structured, and always personalised to the individual student's voice type, goals, and musical interests. I use recording software, backing tracks, and ear training apps to keep sessions engaging. My singing lessons are structured to develop vocal technique, musicality, and genuine performance confidence in a safe and supportive environment in every session. Every lesson begins with a thorough warm-up covering breathing exercises, lip trills, resonance scales, and graduated pitch work appropriate to each student's current level. I assess each student's vocal range, tone, and technical starting point before designing a fully personalised lesson programme that suits their specific voice and goals. Breath management is the central and most important focus of all my teaching as it is the fundamental foundation of every aspect of great vocal production. Pitch accuracy develops through progressive ear training, interval work, and melodic challenges using piano and digital tools throughout. Pop and Contemporary students work on stylistic delivery, vocal riffs, runs, and authentic emotional expression. Classical students develop resonance placement, supported tone, clear diction, and formal performance technique. I record significant run-throughs regularly so students can track their development objectively. Performance coaching covers stage presence, emotional connection, and managing nerves constructively. My goal is for every student to sing with freedom, expressiveness, and complete artistic confidence and joy.
