About Katy
Graduating from the University of Toronto Faculty of Music with a degree in violin and voice provided me with an exceptional foundation in performance. I spent years navigating the rigorous demands of conservatory life and the Canadian Opera Company.
My vocal training focuses on the mechanics of diction and articulation, ensuring that every word carries intent. I integrate vocal health and care into every session, reflecting my long experience in preserving the instrument.
Sight singing and pitch control remain vital pillars for any vocalist aiming to master their craft. I guide students through genre styling, whether they prefer pop, classical, or musical theater, by grounding their technique in solid anatomical understanding. My 13 years of teaching have taught me that clear communication is the core of effective instruction. I look forward to helping you refine your voice with the precision of a professional.
