Many of the words that you will get from books are more academically used and not much used on grassroot level. So she is very aware of the fact and she tells you these small shifts in dialects and writing whenever necessary. Apart from it, as a teacher she understands your learning pace and try to adjust with your pace and schedule as well. Also, she is much interested in teaching you Punjabi as a language but also she can tell you a lot about punjabi culture and traditions while teaching.
