I will guide my students from ground zero - no knowledge - through the fundamentals of Python programming through a series of exciting and rewarding activities. Week-by-week we will build on this knowledge, learning new concepts based on my very own curated curriculum. Each of these weekly session will consist of learning new content, completing tasks to consolidate this knowledge and a homework activity to inspire independent learning.
Once a solid foundation of understanding, we can then explore new computer science topics, beginning with video games development, an excellent way to incorporate new programming paradigms and more complex algorithms whilst enjoying the process of creating your very own game! Further topics can then be chosen based on the students interests such as web-development, machine learning and more.
I will be teaching hour long sessions for students aged 13+ who have a keen interest in computer science, creating video games or who want to learn a new skill.
