About Benjamin
My name is Benjamin and I’m a secondary school teacher, Head of Year to 190 students, School Governor and I’ve got over a decade of experience in teaching Politics A- Level. In addition to my teaching experience, I review Politics A-Level text books, speak three languages and have recently completed an MA at UCL in Educational Leadership.

My lessons are engaging, exam focussed and varied. They cover more than just the specification - healthy debate is encouraged and close analysis of Political events in relation to Ideology plays a central role. I am experienced in teaching exam technique and have an excellent track record in supporting students to rapidly make progress in essay-writing.
I’m a compassionate teacher and believe that relationships with students are the cornerstone of good learning. I am keen on mutual respect, patience, kindness and encourage questions!
I primarily work with the Pearson Edexcel specification and am in regular contact with senior examiners to ensure that I am up to speed with new developments and clear on expectations for students. I can teach to all specifications.
