About Hendrix
With a deep passion for music and teaching, I help students of all ages learn piano effectively. I hold Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Music, which equip me with extensive knowledge of theory, technique, and performance. I have taught beginners, intermediates, and advanced students preparing for exams and recitals. My lessons are student-centred, designed to combine creativity with practical learning. I use real-life examples and case studies to make musical concepts like rhythm, melody, and harmony relatable and easy to understand. Motivation is a central aspect of my teaching, and I encourage students to set achievable goals and celebrate progress. Problem-solving is integrated to develop analytical skills, independence, and confidence. I emphasise integrity, creating a safe, honest, and supportive environment for learning. I am flexible, tailoring lessons to each student’s pace, skill level, and personal objectives. In addition to piano, I teach music theory, sight-reading, ear training, and basic composition to provide a comprehensive musical education. I prepare students for exams, competitions, and performances while fostering creativity, confidence, and discipline. Lessons are available online or in-person for learners of all ages. I focus on developing technical skills, expressive playing, and a lifelong love for music. Each lesson is engaging, motivating, and productive. My ultimate goal is to help students become confident, skilled, and passionate musicians.

I teach piano by making lessons practical, engaging, and connected to real life. Using real-life examples and case studies, I help students understand rhythm, melody, and harmony through everyday experiences, like comparing musical patterns to walking, speaking, or teamwork. I focus on motivation, encouraging students to set goals and celebrate progress at every step. Problem-solving is an important part of my lessons, guiding students to think independently, explore multiple approaches, and strengthen their analytical and musical skills. I teach with integrity, creating an honest, supportive, and patient environment where mistakes are seen as opportunities to grow. I am also flexible, adapting lessons to the student’s age, experience, goals, and learning style. Along with piano, I teach music theory, sight-reading, ear training, and basic composition. Lessons are available online or in-person for all ages. My aim is to help students play confidently, develop creativity, and enjoy a lifelong connection with music.
