About Evan
I am a Physics tutor with 7 years of experience and a BSc in Physics. I have taught over 200 students from GCSE through to undergraduate level across a wide range of Physics topics. My lessons cover classical mechanics, electromagnetism, thermodynamics, waves, quantum physics, nuclear physics, and astrophysics. I am passionate about making Physics both conceptually clear and mathematically manageable for students at every level. My teaching approach is patient, systematic, and always adapted to the student's current level and specific examination requirements. I use clear physical diagrams, worked calculation examples, and real-world Physics applications to make every concept meaningful and memorable. I have helped students significantly improve their Physics grades at GCSE, A-Level, and early university level through consistent targeted coaching. My Physics lessons are structured to develop both physical intuition and mathematical problem-solving ability in every session. Every lesson begins with a targeted review of previous concepts and problems to address remaining confusion before progressing to new material. Mechanics sessions cover forces, motion, energy, momentum, and circular motion with clear conceptual explanation alongside rigorous mathematical treatment. Electromagnetism topics develop field theory, circuit analysis, electromagnetic induction, and wave behaviour through real physical examples and worked calculations. Thermodynamics is covered with strong grounding in gas laws, heat transfer, and energy principles. Quantum physics is introduced carefully with solid experimental evidence that motivates the theory before any mathematics. I integrate real past examination questions throughout every lesson so students build examination technique naturally alongside subject knowledge. I coach students specifically on unit analysis, multi-step calculation structure, and the layout expected for full marks in Physics examinations. Clear structured notes and a targeted problem set are provided after every session. My goal is for every student to approach any Physics question with genuine conceptual confidence and reliable mathematical method.
