About Lata
I am a Physics tutor with over 4 years of experience, holding a BA in Physics. I specialise in helping students explore condensed matter physics and materials science. My lessons dive into the fascinating world of crystal structures, band theory, superconductivity, and semiconductors. I focus on connecting these concepts to real-world technological applications, making them both interesting and relevant. Understanding the properties of solids and liquids at a fundamental level is my core strength. I guide students through the behaviour of materials, explaining how their microscopic structures influence macroscopic properties. Together, we explore how semiconductors power electronics and how superconductors enable advanced technologies. I incorporate clear examples and visualisations to simplify complex ideas. I provide focused and structured Physics tutoring for school and university students, including preparation for AP Physics exams. My lessons cover classical mechanics, electromagnetism, thermodynamics, optics, nuclear physics, and astronomy.
