About Alois
I am a holder of a Bachelor of Education (Honors) in Management, Leadership and Policy (graduated cum laude) and a Master of Education (M.Ed) specialising in Social Justice in Education. For my M.Ed I had three distinctions, that is, in Research Discourses and Methodology, Social Identities and Education, as well as in Theoretical and Methodological Foundations of Social Justice. Since my academic strengths are in research, I would like to pass on the knowledge I acquired to the current students so that they can become future researchers who will solve our education challenges through investigating educational problems.

I simplify key concepts on a topic by using examples that are relevant to primary, high school and tertiary education. I normally explain these concepts in the context of the South African education system as well as international perspectives. I also use the inquiry method of teaching whereby; I use questions to stimulate the student's thinking capacity. The inquiry method is important because it arouses the student's curiosity to understand the concepts better and it motivates the student to expand his/her understanding of the subject by researching more on the concepts/topic.
