About Shyam
My name is Shyam, and I’m an English tutor with a strong background in communication, public speaking, and academic mentoring. I studied Mechanical Engineering with a focus on robotics and design, and over the years I’ve worked closely with international communities through Model United Nations, chairing committees and guiding delegates from around the world. These experiences taught me how to communicate clearly, think analytically, and help others express themselves with confidence. As a teacher, I value clarity, patience, and real progress. I make sure my students feel supported and understood, and I guide them step by step toward becoming more confident speakers and writers. Whether it's improving fluency, strengthening grammar, building strong arguments, or preparing for interviews and presentations, I always bring structure and practical insight to the lesson. What matters most to me is helping each learner find their voice. Every student has a different starting point, and I take pride in adapting my style so you always feel comfortable and motivated. My approach as a teacher is simple: make English feel clear, practical, and confidence-building. I focus on helping students understand why language works the way it does, not just memorizing phrases. Because of my background in engineering, public speaking, and Model United Nations, I teach English with a mix of structure, clarity, and real-world communication skills.
In my classes, I use techniques such as guided conversation, targeted corrections, example-based learning, and structured practice for speaking and writing. I also introduce small, powerful strategies that help students improve fast—like how to organize ideas, how to sound natural, and how to build confidence even if you’re shy.
A typical lesson starts with a warm-up conversation, followed by focused practice based on the student’s goals: fluency, grammar, vocabulary, writing, debate skills, or exam preparation. We end with a short recap so you always know your progress and your next step.
What makes my teaching different is that I combine clear explanation with practical communication training. Because I’ve chaired international conferences and mentored students from many backgrounds, I know how to help learners speak confidently, think faster, and express their ideas with impact.
