About Kate
I am Kate, I taught in primary schools for 18 years before moving to rural Wales.
I trained to be a teacher in 1996 and qualified as a primary school teacher in 2000. I come from three generations of teachers, so I suppose you could say, it's in my blood! However, I wanted to become a teacher as I wanted (and still do) to aspire and help students to find and achieve their full potential.

Depending on your specific needs, I will use assessments to secure a level to start from. My aim is that all students enjoy gaining the knowledge they need through a variety of ways tailored to the way they learn; this will ensure the student learns and retains knowledge at an appropriate pace.
I have worked for 18 years in primary schools in Yorkshire before relocating to Wales. I worked my way up to deputy headteacher in a small primary school in which I continued to teach.
As I live in a remote area I feel that I can confidently offer online tutoring.
