About Sher Yen
I’ve been playing the violin and piano for 14 years and I am currently a first violinist at The University of Melbourne Symphony Orchestra. I have won many awards such as Gold Prize in Euroasia Strings Competition 2020, Gold Prize is Hong Kong International Music Festival 2023 and Silver Prize in Singapore Raffles International Music Festival 2023. I completed Grade 8 under Trinity College London in 2020 with a distinction. I have been teaching students of all ages for the past 6 years and I enjoy seeing my students improve!
