About Lee
Music captured my attention as a child and never truly let go. Admitting that I struggled with tuning by ear at the start makes me a more patient instructor now.
My Bachelor of Music from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music solidified my technical base after 8 years of experience. I love teaching spiccato and staccato bowing because these techniques transform how a piece sounds. Ear training and bowing technique are fundamental to my process. I am always here to help you develop better sound.

Rough, scratchy bowing often prevents beginners from enjoying their own practice sessions. You might remember the sound of your first open string when it finally rang out with clarity and resonance. My Bachelor of Music from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music ensures you learn to control your instrument from the very first bow stroke. We prioritize ear training and tuning by ear to help you hear the music before you play it.
I use targeted spiccato and staccato exercises to build your confidence. If you are preparing for ABRSM or Trinity grade exam prep, we will tackle the repertoire with a supportive, calm rhythm. Your progress on the stage starts with the foundational habits we build during our time together.
