About Madeleine

I am an enthusiastic Guitar tutor with 15 years of experience and over 350 students taught. I specialise in working with high school and college students, focusing on building technical ability, musical expression, and confidence. My teaching combines practical exercises with creative exploration, helping students develop their skills while enjoying the learning process.

One of my proudest moments has been guiding students to perform confidently at college events and competitions, witnessing their progress and excitement is truly fulfilling. I aim to inspire students to embrace music as a form of self-expression, develop stage presence, and cultivate a lifelong passion for Guitar.

About the lesson

My teaching methodology for guitar focuses on clarity, consistency, and musical growth. I use communication to explain chords, finger techniques, strumming patterns, and scales in a simple and clear manner. This helps students understand lessons quickly and practise correctly.

I emphasise accountability by guiding students to set goals and follow regular practice routines. I track progress and provide feedback to ensure steady improvement. Integrity is a core value in my teaching. I focus on correct technique, posture, and musical fundamentals to help students build strong and lasting skills.

Lessons are planned according to the student’s level, pace, and musical interests. I include exercises, song practice, and rhythm training to make learning enjoyable. I also teach related subjects such as music theory, ear training, and songwriting to provide a complete musical foundation.

My teaching style is supportive, motivating, and well-structured. I aim to help students gain confidence, creativity, and a deep love for playing guitar.
