About Tim
I am a seasoned tutor and lecturer with extensive experience supporting students across all academic levels in theology, philosophy, and ethics. Over the past two decades, I have helped hundreds of learners improve their essay writing and critical thinking, including students at GCSE, A-level, and university. As the editor-in-chief for a published academic journal, having a First Class MA, and currently completing a PhD, I bring academic rigour and practical insights into effective essay construction. As an experienced essay marker and journal editor, I have a deep understanding of academic standards and how to guide students towards producing first-class work. Lessons typically last 60 minutes but can be adapted to suit your concentration and workload. I provide ongoing support between sessions, including feedback on written drafts and guidance on time management to overcome procrastination and writer’s block. With over 20 years of teaching and tutoring experience, including mentoring degree students and marking university essays, I understand exactly what academic assessors look for.
