About Jonathan

Taught for 30+ years at school, college and university; to small groups and large classes; to students in the UK and overseas. Experienced in helping students understand what economics is all about, and why it seems so weird. Master the code and flourish! I have a BA from Oxford in PPE, a PGCE, and a doctorate in Economics.

About the lesson

Students learn best when they set their own agendas, and come up with the questions that they wish to investigate. A tutor's role is that of a mentor - guiding and encouraging the student to advance to his or her full potential.

Excellent! Jonathan provided a free 20 minute skype meeting but felt this query was outside his scope of expertise. However, he kindly sent through some pointers and this was greatly appreciated. Jonathan appeared professional and genuinely interested in getting the right tuition in place. His guidance was much appreciated. Incidentally, other tutors declined the request for support with MSc Economics. Jonathan's approach was much appreciated.
