With years of experience in education and a passion for helping students succeed, I am dedicated to making learning both effective and enjoyable. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in English with a Minor in Education Studies from UCLA and have worked extensively in K-12 classrooms as a tutor, teaching assistant, and substitute teacher. My background in both general and special education allows me to adapt lessons to meet each student's unique learning style and needs. I am committed to fostering an inclusive and culturally responsive learning environment. My experience working with diverse student populations has strengthened my cultural competency, allowing me to connect with students from different backgrounds and tailor lessons that respect and reflect their identities. About the lesson

As a tutor, I focus on creating a supportive and engaging learning environment tailored to each student’s needs. My teaching approach is student-centered, incorporating interactive discussions, scaffolded exercises, and real-world applications to reinforce understanding. I adapt my methods to accommodate different learning styles, ensuring that lessons are accessible, enjoyable, and effective.

A typical lesson begins with a brief review of previous material to assess understanding, followed by an interactive explanation of new concepts using visual aids, guided practice, and collaborative problem-solving. Each session ends with a recap and actionable steps for independent practice.

What sets me apart is my diverse educational background, hands-on teaching experience, and ability to connect with students of various ages and learning abilities. With a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Minor in Education Studies from UCLA, along with experience in general and special education, I bring a well-rounded, patient, and adaptive approach to tutoring.

My lessons are designed for K-12 students seeking support in English, writing, and general academic skills. Whether a student needs foundational support, enrichment, or college preparation, I strive to build confidence and academic success in every session.
