About Rachel
I am former volleyball player, for 7 years I dedicated my free time after school and at home to learning all I can about volleyball. I focus on the fundamentals of the sport rather than the fancy stuff. Once you master the fundamentals is when you can really start to implement the fancy stuff. I love teaching the sport that I'm passionate about to people that feel the same way! Something I don't see a lot of coaches doing is teaching the players how to be a team sport. Something I am passionate about is being a good team player and being respectful towards your teammates. Coaches who play favorites disappoint me and I strive to be respectful and equally engaged with all of my players. If I see one struggling I will help them and move onto the next!
