About Mike

I have been doing and teaching Voice Over for decades. I have been and am the voice of many National television and radio campaigns for major brands. I have worked closely with over 2,000 students since around 1997 helping them learn more about the VO industry and how they can get started doing Voice Overs from home. I was living in Los Angeles and really starting to get traction in my Voice Over career. I left California and moved to S. Florida for a radio job. I started having people pop up in my email box almost daily from people asking how to get started. After answering way too many email and spending way too much time on it...I decided to put a few programs together for those that are REALLY serious about it.

I have been working in radio and voicing commercials and narrations since 1985. I have a background in radio and acting in both theater, television and a couple of movies

About the lesson

We have an initial consultation to determine the area(s) of Voice Over that student is interested in. We also use the initial consultation to determine what natural abilities the person might bring to the table. I lay out the recommended path to get to Point A....Point B.....etc. and gauge the level of interest once they have had the curtain pulled back and are able to see how it all works.

I have worked with people from complete beginners to people that have been in the business for many years and just want to do workouts with another professional. My specialty is getting people started that have no experience at all.

MAKE SURE THEY ARE WORKING!!!! Not USED to work in voice over..and not someone that has done a few local level, small voice over jobs.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Is there an area of Voice Over that is most attractive to them? Such as Audio Books, Commercial, Narration, Video Game, Animation. ------ Do you have the ability to put a little money into learning the ropes and getting yourself a few pieces of recording equipment? These are necessary things to consider in an effort to create forward motion.

I do individual, one on one sessions at $50.00 an hour for people that just want to test the waters here and there with ZEEEEEROOOOO pressure. I also have a few different packages:

MOST COMPREHENSIVE:

This course is recommended for those without any experience. you'll get nine One on One coaching sessions, two professionally produced demos recorded in a professional recording studio, One custom made, user friendly VO website, access to group classes afer the course completion and lifetime support/communication. ------This course is 3,200.00

ANOTHER PACKAGE

This course is also recommended for those with no experience. You'll get six one on one coaching sessions, One Voice Over demo recorded in a professional recording studio in their area, access to future group classes upon course completion and lifetime support/communication. ------- This course is 2,100.00

A GREAT ENTRY LEVEL PROGRAM ALSO

For brandnew people this might be a great way to get all the information you need to determine a path to get started and help you get and stay up to date on all things VO. You will get access to an average of two VO Group Classes a month online for one whole year from the date of signup....in addition to a "student only" online channel where all group classes are recorded and archived along with a heavy load of instructional videos from some of the VO industries busiest voices.
