About Emily
I participated in Houston Youth Symphony for seven years; four of which were in the Symphony Orchestra. I placed into Region Orchestra for eight; and Texas All-State Philharmonic in 2020, and have competed in and won or placed in multiple solo competitions. I have also attended several international music festivals (most notably ARIA Insternational Music Academy and the International Music Academy in the Czech Republic) and have studied violin for 12 years now.
I began at the request of a teacher to assist other students in sectionals, and it progressed from there.
I'm a freshman at the Katherine McGovern College of Music at UH, and have been a member of several nationally acknowledged programs.

I asses their current progress and ask them about their goals/what they are looking to accomplish, as well as how long they're interested in playing the violin/if they are majoring.
A broad range (up to 18-year-olds).

Details
I charge $30 for an hour, $15 for half. Generally most students take lessons once each week, but I am willing to do extra if requested.
