About Jason
I've been teaching violin for more than 20 years; former students have gotten full tuition Starling Scholarships and Full Tuition Scholarships to Juilliard. I am a member of the Philadelphia Orchestra. I can teach audition prep, also, I play in the DePue Brothers Band. I enjoy meeting new students and keeping in touch with current and or former students, seeing where their lives are now and participating in their celebrations.
I'm a Graduate of the Curtis Institute of Music; have been in attendance at festivals such as 1999 Carnegie Hall Chamber Music Workshop, La Jolla, Ravinia, Sarasota, Kingston, Encore, Chautauqua, Interlochen. I've also been on many International Tours.

I work according to the students' needs and level. Every student is different and it's important for each student to know they are unique and special in their own way. Approach to technique is logical. Tho I encourage musical approach as a very important element. I work with and for the student and on behalf of improving the art of the music.
