My rate is $75 per hour lesson. This is low compared to my teachers ($275 per hour is standard for high-end teachers). Teachers just starting out often charge $55 per hour or even less.

I base my rate on the expertise, experience, and education that I have to offer my students. I do not base it on time or travel, so a 30-minute Zoom lesson is the same price as a 2-hour lesson where I travel to you. That said, I feel that thirty minutes is not enough time for a lesson, and anything over an hour is usually too exhausting for any but the most advanced college-age students.
