About Seung Hyun (Joy)

I am currently enrolled in George Mason University with Violin Performance Major and Strings Pedagogy minor.

I have been teaching privately since my freshman year and I currently have a small home studio and willing to grow it.

Your first lesson will be free, it will be time when we get to know each other better!

I can also teach viola for beginners as well as violin. Because of COVID19 I am currently giving online lessons :)

I love working with my students to help them accomplish goals and share my love for music to others.

I can say that I amm more motivated than ever to help you. I am flexible with whatevrr you may need, don't be afraid to ask. I. Want to put an emphasis on helping YOU during the lesson time.

All Of my students motivate and teach me and the time is very valuable nd special for me. I cannot wait to get started!

I started from the last semester of my senior year in high school in order to help one of my student prepare for solo and ensemble that was held. The opportunity with my first student opened up new goal for me as a private teacher.

I am currently a senior at George Mason University, majoring in violin performance and minoring in strings pedagogy.

About the lesson

Your first lesson is free! I want to get to know you and your background on violin, your interests, and what you would like to work on. We would have a trial lesson to see your playing level and adjust to the student's needs. I will focus on what my student needs for improvement.

I have worked with students from elementary to high school level, working on school repertoire or Suzuki repertoires with scales and etudes. I have experience in both violin and viola teaching.

What kind of degree the teacher have and their teaching experience. Most of all, their passion for teaching new and young musicians.

45 minutes: 40 dollards

60 minutes: 50 dollards

*If I have to travel to your home, it will be extra 10 dollards from each time.
