About Stephanie
I believe making music is joyful and should be shared with others. In lessons, I hope to nurture the student's inherent love for music while teaching them violinistic skills. I aim to make violin playing as natural as possible for my students by emphasizing a comfortable and healthy posture. I will also include ear training, sight-reading, and music theory for a well-rounded approach.
I have played violin for over 10 years and currently study at Peabody Institute, pursuing a Bachelor's degree. Before coming to Peabody, I also attended New York University, and Interlochen Arts Academy.

Interested students are welcome to contact me for a complimentary introductory lesson! We will spend 20 minutes going over the student's musical background, interests, and goals. If the student has previous experience, we can also take a look at a piece the student has learned. Then, we will make a plan and choose repertoire for the following lessons.
