About Robin
Hello! My name is Robin Tozzie, I have been playing violin for as long as I can remember. I grew up with the Suzuki method studying violin and piano. I continued my musical studies receiving my Bachelor's of Music and Master's of Music in violin performance at Florida State University and Rice University the Shepherd School of Music. I love teaching the violin, and have taught for many years! My goal as a teacher (and a student of violin myself) is to develop and learn to love the sound that you (or I) create. I believe this is the impetus to becoming a better musician. Of course, you must not skip the fundamentals (scales, etudes, music theory, and aural skills). However, you will find in studying the fundamentals your love and appreciation of good sound will blossom further. Let's get started!! Happy practicing!

I charge $80/hr for in-person lessons. Travel fee is $5. Trial lessons are free (30 mins). If you'd like to have a zoom or online lesson, I charge $70/hr.
