About Dennis
I formed my music LLC in 2020 because I was tired of treating my passion like a side gig. I have several years of experience teaching trumpet to students of all ages ranging from elementary school to adult. Aside from trumpet, I also know some trombone and French Horn, and I am a composer for media such as films and video games.
Music has been my life for a long time now. I have a bachelors degree from SUNY Purchase College in trumpet performance, and I have experience playing in all sorts of different ensembles such as chamber quintets, brass ensembles, concert bands, and symphony orchestras.

I began teaching while I was in college. I started with a students who lived near the college and worked at preparing them for NYSSMA. After that, my college gave me the opportunity to teach another student during my senior year. After I graduated from college, I've been teaching through Williamsburg Music Studio.
I have played trumpet for over 14 years, and I have a bachelors degree in trumpet performance from SUNY Purchase College.

When working with a new student, I think that it's best to work at a pace that is constructive for them, while also setting goals. The most important thing when learning about trumpet is knowing what's working, what's not working, and figuring out how to fix it. Everybody's different, and when I teach lessons, I understand that.
I have worked with students as young as 9 years old to teenagers, to college students, to adults in their 30s.
