Hi! My name is Max. Fun fact: I once ran a mile in 4:20. Another fun fact: I love working with students. The most rewarding part of tutoring for me is when a new concept “clicks” with a student - their excitement is contagious, and it’s a privilege to be able to help them reach that point! On a more personal level, I am an enthusiastic and outdoorsy type of person!

I partner with students on a one-on-one basis in the SAT and ACT through SoFlo Tutors, my tutoring agency. I scored in the top percentile on both exams, graduated from Willamette University with a degree in Political Science, and have been tutoring with SoFlo for 3 years. My methodology is analysis, strategy, and practice. Your student will take a free diagnostic test first so that we can identify their needs. Next, we will create a plan to address those needs so that we can improve your student’s overall scores. Finally, we will practice using real exams and test questions to prepare them to take the official test.

Test prep lessons offered by Max are tailored to each student's needs and level. Lessons can also be held online. Lessons are also available in Rogers. The first lesson is free to define learning goals and methodology.
