About Edgar

I teach implicit learning where the student doesn't have to think or memorize too much of the process but instead isolate the swing movements in a way that it's hard to get it wrong. I believe in the practicing till you get it right and then practicing some more till you can't get it wrong.

I've just seen so many students getting lesson after lesson but they are rarely taught the core of what makes a golf or tennis swing pure. I believe in the 80/20 rule. That if you master the 20 percent correctly of a movement or process then you will have attained 80 percent of what you need to suceeed in a sport.

I had a cyber security business for over 20yrs and I had to learn a lot of isolation skills to reach solutions so in breaking down the golf and tennis swing mechanics I was able to isolate what was efficient and what was superfluous.

About the lesson

I focus on certain keys to the golf and tennis swing that creates much faster improvement by teaching that both swings are circular and not linear. I was taught linear method and was above average for 20yrs but once I switched to circular method my swing vastly improved and became more repeatable and simpler.

Perfect! Edgar is a terrific teacher who really helped me improve my tennis game. He is an excellent listener and quickly got a sense from me of what I wanted to work on, and then after hitting a bit he gave me a really good analysis of what I needed to do to improve and we worked on that. And I really liked that he's also a fan of the game, and talking about the techniques of various pros was helpful, and just chatting about the sport overall was an enjoyable bonus. I look forward to working with him again next spring when tennis weather returns!

Took lessons from Edgar just a few weeks ago and really improved my tennis strokes. I also learned how to hit a kick serve.
Just recently started taking golf Lessons as well and was able to get rid of my slice with the driver
Just by changing my grip from a neutral one to a stronger grip and was even able to hit a slight draw. Exciting feeling.

I got tennis lessons wirh Ed last year and was able to hit loopy topspin in one session and got more consistent by learning to count to 5 balls over the net as a goal and have more purpose to my my game. A real aha moment.
