About David
With A.T.L.D tennis lessons, you will learn and practice the correct, modern way of playing tennis from your first time out on court. With an emphasis on effective communication, friendly interaction, unique lesson plans and drills, and lots and lots of hitting, you will improve at an accelerated pace and enjoy the process of doing so!
I take great pride in my ability to analyze areas of weakness in my students' games, and explain to them in an easy to understand manner how to improve these issues.
Tennis Canada and PTR certified, with 25 years of coaching experience at all levels, from beginner kids rec center programs to NCAA university tennis teams.

When working with a new student, we will have a brief discussion about their goals and playing experience. We will then have a short hitting based warmup (my students do not waste valuable lesson time running laps of the courts or doing jumping jacks), followed by a series of progressive drills designed to work on that days shots and strategies.
