About Kevin

Great with beginners and anyone looking for an advanced rally. So there is always a chance you can get a great time in. My serve is pretty up there, and I am a lefty too so, pretty interesting.

It's something special to see someone actually enjoy tennis. This game of 'cat and mouse' becomes a lifestyle once certain obstacles are overcome.

I just loved the game. To others it may be boring, but style of tennis I learnt is more on memory and placement of shots rather than consistent power and force. The difference is that you then to understand mor of what's happening and so u can learn how to improve, as well as, it become more active and less boring.

I got started because our high school coach quit and we were left without a coach. Since I graduated that year, I requested to take over the high school tennis program until such time. Thus, I started coaching and have always enjoyed teaching students what I've learnt along the way

I have been a coach to high school kids and to individually who just wanted to learn for fun.

I have played competitively and have especially taught students how to serve properly so that it becomes more of an asset than a challenge.

Whether you are looking at competitive play or just for recreation, it is important to master the basics.

About the lesson

I start with a warm- up and drills for the first couple sessions and focus on getting comfortable as well as working on problem areas whether it be the serve, volleying, or baseline.

Then once the student can comfortably rally a point, we move on to constructing a game plan and learning how a set is played.

Perfect! Kevin does a great job breaking down the fundamentals to be successful. He was able to quickly assess where I stood as far as my skillset goes and tailors each lesson so that I am able to get better. I hope to have many more lessons with him!

I do not have a standard, but $20 bucks seems suitable for 1 class and depending on use of equipment that might change, but not anytime soon.
