About Tamara
I teach self-rescue swim-float-swim lessons to babies & children ages 6 months to six years. I also teach stroke lessons to children once child knows how to swim. This process on average takes between 3-6 weeks of daily (Monday thru Thursday) *10-20 min lesson dependent on age. ALL lessons are one on one with me & tailored daily to each child. Don’t waste time on unending lessons with your child when your child has the ability to learn to swim with me within weeks!
I absolutely love seeing my little clients begin their lessons. Many times children are scared or timid or unsure about the water & their own ability. Within a very short period of time (often in less than a few lessons) watching them grow into self-confidence & becoming excited about swimming each day is priceless! I nearly lost my own child to drowning when my son was just 2. I never want a parent to experience that feeling that I felt. It’s my goal to teach children how to safely enjoy the water! I absolutely love what I do!
I took 7 weeks of intense academic & in water training with a master survival swim instructor. I spent countless hours on academic material learning physical, psychological, anatomy material amongst other subjects. In addition, I am certified in pediatric & adult CPR, AED & First Aid via the Red Cross. Come enjoy the water with me!

I assess the information provided by you about your child from their registration form prior to lessons. On the first day of lessons, I assess in water their specific need(s) to tailor each week of lessons to their specific needs. I then work using sensory motor learning to teach that lesson to your child which allows each child’s body to make gains in muscle memory in just a short 10 minutes per day! It’s an amazing way for your child to learn how to safely enjoy water!
