About Andre
I am a swimming technician whose swimmers have gone on to compete at the highest of levels of the sport (Olympic gold and world records). With almost two decades of experience at teaching all levels of swimming from learn to swim lessons to college athletes, I have an understanding of how to build a swim stroke for any level of swimmer.
I enjoy seeing my swimmers progress in their understanding of the sport. Once a swimmer starts feeling the water and the positions in the water that lead to fluid movement they have the power to realize any goals they are willing to set and work towards. That is exciting to see.
Summer league with Queens Harbour Wahoos. We ran the summer team and the learn to swim lesson program.
Continuous education through the American Swim Coaches Association.

Learn their goals. Observe their current level. Build from body position floating up to full stroke swimming and ultimately high intensity training specific techniques to ensure they will stay viable during a swim workout.
All types from national record holders to learn to swim students.
Often small groups are better learning environments than individual lessons. If the group is similar levels and focused. Also 4 days in a row are infinitely more productive than 1 time a week for a month.
One of my former swimmers won three gold medals at the Olympics in Rio and set the 100m backstroke world record.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
what are my goals with swimming? Do I want to be able to be around water with out fear? Swim in Mavericks on a medium wave day? Compete and make friends with common interests? Once you know what you are trying to achieve, you can share that with your instructor and we can help you achieve and refine those goals.
