About Chris
I've taught swim lessons to children and adults for 5 years while I lived in Portland, Oregon. I've been 'water safety instructor' certified by the American Red Cross and Swim America.
I've also taught classes and lead discussions on the topics of religion, biology, chemistry, music, etc. for the past four years. I find that I understand a topic better when I teach it, and I enjoy it most when I help others to understand. I'm a neuroscience major in my sophomore year of college, and I'm a part of the Neuro Academic Society at BYUI, because I love understanding the mechanics of the brain. One day, I hope to cure Alzheimer's disease! Then I plan to retire and teach either at a university or high school for the sake of future scientists.
I'm also a musician! I've been playing acoustic guitar for the past 6 years, and I really enjoy songs where I can finger-pick the strings.
