About Joe
What I do goes beyond teaching water safety and stroke technique. As important as these things are, my main focus centers around being a source of empowerment and trust for the children I teach. My swimmers leave each lesson feeling confident and powerful in what they can achieve. They learn the importance of trust in the water and how it can encourage them to love and respect swimming!
The best part of my job is getting a nervous swimmer to trust me and the process we're creating together. There's nothing like seeing my swimmers achieve water safety and begin to understand how to navigate on their own in the pool.
