About Lucy
Former Ohio State University swimmer and Croatian National Champion! I'm trying to pay forward by passing on my knowledge and experience to younger generations! My goal is to teach your little champions how to love water, become comfortable in it and learn how to swim without any assistance! My biggest focus is kids 3-10 years old and each age group is specific on its own. There are no two kids that are the same which is why I am offering 1 on 1 private lesson.
Paying forward the knowledge and beauties of swimming as well as seeing progress and the amount of fun every kid has in the water! Swimming is a "slow cooker" so when there is progress, it is definitely visible and brings joy and smiles to children's and parents' faces!
I have been swimming since I was 6 years old. Water and swimming was my whole life. Chlorine smell became my main "perfume". I have been giving private lessons while I was living in Croatia to little kiddos during summer. It was mostly for their fun and being able to stay active.

Getting to know the student and learning what will our main focus be while working together. Whether that is getting comfortable with water or learning how to correct the stroke and everything in between, it is important to communicate expectations and so we can set up the plan for success.
