About Clare
Private swimming lessons are perfect for everyone! They allow the instructor to focus solely on the pupil's needs. One-on-one training is great for anyone wanting to learn the basics or improve their stroke development. Private lessons are especially good for adults and individuals with special needs, because the entire lesson is developed around the specific skills these pupil's are hoping to achieve.
I also offer group deals! Have a group of friends with kids you'd like to take lessons with? Call me! We can discuss group pricing and discounting!
There is nothing more satisfying than helping my pupils achieve their goals in the water, whether it be overcoming the fear of getting your face wet, or perfecting your dolphin kick for an efficient butterfly. I love the "versatile structure" of this job. Our customized lesson plans are created in advance but we can make adjustments along the way to focus on the areas that the pupil may need more help with. I love this flexibility! Finding fun ways to teach my students life saving skills in and around the water makes my job all the better, and I can't wait to do the same for you and your family.
I am a certified Water Safety Instructor with the ARC. I have an associate degree in Arts and Sciences, and am currently studying communications.

First I must determine my pupil's swim level in accordance with the ARC's requirements. In order to do this, we swim! Once my pupil's level is determined, I develop a lesson plan for the remainder of our time together.
