About Kristine

I am into what I do. I make sure your child gets the most out of our time. I am goal oriented, focessed, and I know swimming! I don't waste time I am good at getting the best out of my students. I use a lot of encouragement and am sensitive to students who are anxious, scared and very patient. I am good at turning their day around so they feel comfortable and they start to smile and have fun. Also if one students have different needs I concentrate on each ones individual goals. I also can tell a student that it's learning time when their unfocused or just not listening in a firm way. Just to get them back on track. I have been teaching lessons for over thirty years and have been a competitive swimmer and coach for two years.

I enjoy seeing results of hard work. Also seeing kids meet their goals of learning a skill or getting them on the swim team. I also enjoy the fun with playing games to make learning fun! Also seeing a kid go from scared and nervous to being compfortable in the water.

I have taken my Water Safey Instructor course many times to recertification over many years:

About the lesson

I first access their level and if it's a private lesson make an individual lesson plan. I do individualized goals for each student in group lessons too.
