About Nekiwa
Knowledge is KING and Curiosity is FUEL! I am an experienced administrator with 12+ years of experience. I have an MBA with a concentration in Finance from Sam Houston State University. I'm skilled in project and program management, data analysis and visualization, Microsoft Office Suite, research, math, statistics, writing, and report generation. I've worked in a wide range of industries and have a broad skillset covering various facets of industry sectors, policies, and procedures. I love fueling and feeding aspiring minds and their curiosity! My passion for Business, Math and English allows me to tutor my students, allowing them to achieve optimized results, all while having fun! I believe that learning should always be an enjoyable experience and I strive to ensure that each and every one of my students rise to become the best that they can be.

I enjoy seeing the excitement and "light bulb" moment expressions on my students faces once they've mastered something new. "Aha" moments like these motivate me and is the driving force behind what I do.
I have always had a love and passion for knowledge and learning and seeing others learn. After completing two years of college, I got married and entered the professional arena. After the birth of my children, I left the workforce to homeschool to prepare them for brick-in-morter education. With four children, including a special needs child, I was able to gain a well-rounded teaching perspective that was truly rewarding! Years later, I made the decision to go back to school, earned my BBA, and ultimately my MBA.
